A registered nurse for 21 years working in acute and long-term care settings including emergency services at York Hospital where she began performing Sexual Assault Forensic Examinations 16 years ago.

Holds certifications in Emergency Nursing, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner-A and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner- P. Current responsibilities as the Forensic Program Manager include, direct patient service, development and implementation of policy related to forensic nursing practice, coordination of quality improvement initiatives, staff education for Wellspan Health, and serving as a consultant to community agencies for education, coordination of care, and public speaking needs. Serving as a member of Pennsylvania’s Sexual Assault Evidence Collection Committee, assisting in the development and review of Pennsylvania's minimum standard requirements for evidence collection. A member of the York County and Adams Counties multidisciplinary teams for victims of child abuse participating with case review in both counties. Serving York County Children’s Advocacy Center’s Advisory Board. Trained and participated in writing questions for the International Association of Forensic Nurses Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, Pediatric examination. A member of the International Association of Forensic Nurses. Two peer reviewed publications written related to the care of forensic medical patients.
